In late-October in honor of Advocacy Month, we were able to host a successful collaboration with Rutgers NCPA Student Chapter.
We had a total of 55 attendees come in and listen to NJ state senator Vin Gopal (member of the senate health committee, human services, and senior citizens committee) and assemblyman Herb Conaway (co-chair of the assembly health committee).
They spoke on the process of how pharmacy-related policies are made and how a student studying health care can directly impact these legislations.
Thank you to our guest speakers, NCPA Legislative Affairs Coordinators, and our Directors of Advocacy for executing such a successful and impactful event!
